Common questions
- Do I need an account to try it?
- No. Install the app and click Start your free month on its first screen — the trial is tied to your workshop computer, not to an account. You only create an account when you decide to subscribe.
- What happens when my trial ends?
- The app asks you to subscribe before running new jobs: create your account, subscribe, and sign in on the workshop computer. Your machines, presets, workflows and job history all stay on your computer — nothing is deleted, and subscribing picks up exactly where you left off.
- How do I pay?
- By card, through Stripe's secure checkout — we never see or store your card details. If you subscribe while your trial is still running, the unused free days carry over and billing only starts when they're used up. Payment method, invoices and cancellation live in the billing portal on your dashboard.
- Is anything locked during the trial?
- No. The trial is the full product: every machine, every file format, every workflow feature.
- What does one subscription cover?
- One workshop computer running GRBL Server — with as many machines connected to it, and as many computers and laptops using it over the network, as you like.
- Can I cancel?
- Anytime, from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your data stays on your computer regardless.
- I joined during the beta. What about the early-supporter price?
- The promise stands: accounts created during the public beta keep a permanently discounted price. It's applied automatically when you subscribe — checkout simply shows the lower amount.
